how to find your body mass index

Body mass index is much more reliable indicator of how much weight is fat and how much is bone and muscle.
First take your height in inches and square it. If your height is 64". (64x640 =4096

The second stepis to divide your weight in pounds by the answer in the first step. If your weight is 110,that would be 110 divided by 4096 the answer is .026

The third step is to use the last figure,.026, and multiply it by 703. that comes out to18.2

A healthy body mass index is 19 - 25
                                                  How to interpret body mass index
                                                        less than 18.5 underweight
                                                                      18.5 healthy weight
                                                                      25.0-29.9 overweight
                                                                      30.00-39.9 obese  greater than 40 severe obesity

A BMI of 25 or higher can lead to health problems such as heart disease,stroke,high blood pressure and more
